Equipped with 41g of draw-biased weighting, the M4 D-Type features Twist Face Technology to provide corrective face angle on off-center hits in real time for remarkable forgiveness and accuracy across the face. A Hammerhead Sole Slot creates a larger sweet spot for added forgiveness while reducing unwanted spin. The refined Geocoustic sole unlocks next-level feel and sound.

Draw-Biased Design:
  • Two-tone crown cosmetics have been altered to make the face appear more open, resulting in a more closed face at impact
  • 41g of weight has been moved heel-ward – as opposed to the more central location of the standard M4 – to deliver draw bias
  • Draw-biased weighting helps golfers with fade or slicing flight paths achieve greater accuracy

Twist Face Technology:

Good Features - Nice Swingweight

Bought this about a month ago. I bought an 'A' flex model. The draw bias is noticeable, but not overly strong. The head seems more compact in appearance and that's a good thing. The best feature is that the swingweight is a D-2 - too many of these adjustable drivers are at a D-3 or D-4, not a good swingweight for someone using an 'A' flex. It's a nice driver.

Doesn’t Come With The Adjustment Tool

I love the club, but what they don’t tell you on the site is that it doesn’t come with the adjustment tool. You have to buy that separately. It’s seems silly to sell an adjustable driver and not include the adjustment tool. It also seems cheap of them not to include a head cover, but at least they tell you that on the site.

Taylormade M4 D Type Driver

This very forgiving Driver. I have played 3 rounds since Christmas and I am hitting the ball much straighter and gaining 20 to 30 yards in distance. This is first M Driver I’ve seen do this. The light graphite shaft and the 12 degree loft is a big plus for me since I am near 70 years old. I recommend this Driver 100%.
