Enjoying The Upgrade
Went from Taylormade stealth irons to the p770. These irons have a great sound and feel, but also give feedback on miss hits.

Consistent Reliable Irons With A Appealing Look
I’ve had these irons for several weeks and couldn’t be happier. Get fitted. These irons are extremely consistent with spin and distance control which was exactly what my game needed. The forged feel is amazing and gives a buttery soft feel when you stripe it in the center of the face. Off center strikes will provide feedback of where you hit it on the club face which enhances you to make adjustments as needed. The look of the irons is 10/10. Job well done by TM. Many will say the iron head is very slim and small like a blade. It is smaller in comparison to a game improvement iron which is what I transitioned from. However, do not let this deter you from buying this iron as I have 0 concerns about the size of the head while hitting the ball. It’s a sleek look and I have high confidence standing over the ball when ready to hit it. Highly recommend this iron to those upgrading out of game improvement irons as it will transcend your game giving you consistent numbers and spin to hit more greens.

Great Clubs
They are nice, but they are too difficult for me to hit consistently. I wish I chose the P790’s, oh well 🤷

Great Players Irons!
As advertised! Great feel and playability. I strengthened the lofts to compare more favorable to the P790s and my distances haven't changed.

Very Impressed
I partially wanted new irons just to have something new since I was playing with an 18-year old set. I have been extremely impressed with the P-770s. I bought the 5i-AW set and I have had great success with each club. Previously with my old set, anything longer than the 7i rarely came out of the bag. Beautiful clubs, smooth strikes, more forgiving than I anticipated, and just good fun golf! I am an 18 handicap and I will tell you to just buy them and enjoy! I should have bought new clubs years ago! Do not delay your purchase!

Butter
Switched out my 7-PW from the P790’s to these and man what a difference in shot dispersion and distance control. They’re buttery smooth on top of that!! Highly recommended. Still play my 5-6 irons as P790’s for easier long shots

First Set Of Real Irons
Exactly what I was hoping for! It’s been a tough transition from game improvement clubs to these P770s but I’m loving every minute of it. Great feedback from these irons for a golfer who is newer to the game.

770 Vs Zx7 Vs 790
Great irons overall and no buyer's remorse. That said others' comments about slight distance gap between 8 and 7 irons are true due to starting the 7 iron there are speed pockets. Im coming from 1st gen Srixon ZX7 as main gamer and PXG 0317 CB as back up. So Im spoiled with soft feel and compact slim profile. TM 770 is pleasing in both areas. 7 iron and up, again due to speed pocket, does exaggerate hollow body feel when off center but on or near the sweet spot, feel is good. Generous sweet spot btw. Heads are small which I appreciate and sets up so tightly behind the ball. Topline is thicker than PXG CB but frankly PXG CB is pretty slim. Smidgen thicker than ZX7. Bottomline, doesnt bother me too much. Distance is good, on par with ZX7 which are on the longer side among players irons category. Gapping is pretty good except from 8 to 7 by about 5 more yards. Finally spin. Im a high spin player so considering that these irons hold greens well. Lastly turf interaction. Im a huge fan of ZX7 v sole. That said, no complaints about 770, so I suppose 770's sole design with the reliefs does its job. I debated between 770 and 790 for a long time as Im getting older and losing distance but glad I wemt with 770. I think 790 would have been too much and i would need to recalibrate rest of my bag for gapping. Last lastly I can get a 4 iron air borne again with the 770! Forgiving irons for sure.
