Love This Launch Monitor

I didn’t need anything fancy but that is all that seems to be out there for launch monitors. The Shot Scope LM1 was exactly what I was looking for. It gives me club speed, ball speed, carry distance, total distance along with smash factor. I didn’t know I needed smash factor. This unit helps me dial in the distance of all my clubs which is very helpful on the golf course. The free, no subscription app is great. I can input the clubs in my bag and it gathers/calculates the minimum distance, average distance and longest distance. Just have to remember to change the clubs on the LM1 before you start hitting it. Super easy to upload the data to the app. I highly recommend the LM1 to any golfer looking for simple, easy to read data.

Not Enough Time To Get Feel

I bought the monitor about three weeks. I have used it on the range twice. I like that I have some immediate feedback on my home course's range because yardage is not marked well. It worked for the majority of the practice but towards the end, it stopped reading even though there was a display. I need to test it further to give it a good or bad review

For $200 This Is Great

Recently got this and took it out to the range. First thoughts was wow I have no clue how to read the markers at the course because I thought all my swings were going 100 yards. But the shot scope just opened my eyes to see I’m hitting like 4 clubs the same distance so there’s definitely some mechanics work to be done. It was about 90 degrees when I went out and the LM1 performed just fine. I was able to cycle through all of my 13 clubs and get readings on all of them. I do want to say that there were about 2-3 shots that were crazy, like a shot I topped that dribbled out in front of me but registered a 219 mph club speed. Obviously this was a phantom reading, and it was very easy to later remove this entry on the app and automatically adjust my average. I’m a beginning golfer and the LM1 is going to help save me a bunch of time in terms of analyzing factors about my swing. Yes I can’t see dispersion or track my exact shot, however, I know actually have an idea about how far each one of my clubs go and the most important thing confidence in selecting a club when I’m in the course. I highly recommend buying this. At $200 it’s great.

Stopped Working After 10 Sessions

I bought this few months back and it worked good for about 10 sessions then suddenly stops reading half the shots. Was always kept in case when not in use. Build quality is an issue I’m guessing. Reached out to shot scope and they needed proof with video that it didn’t work even though I offered to send it in and paid for the shipping. Would recommend the rapsodo $149 version.

Worth The Price

Bought this and took it straight to the range to test out. It doesn’t have ball spin, club path, or the extra details. But for $200 it does a great job for club head and ball speed. It’ll be a great tool to really help dial in the distance on your clubs. Can’t wait to take this out for a round!

Very easy to use. I like the simplicity of the screen. Good UI design. Thiugh it wouod be a bit difficult to read as its such a small unit but it really isnt at all. Simple app integration and offers a lot of neat features with no subscriptions.
