I’m an 3.5 player and I’ve really enjoyed the Selkirk VANGUARD Power Air S2. It has great pop on drives and put-aways, and the spin is noticeable right away. It leans toward power, but once I adjusted, I still felt confident with control at the net. Overall, it’s been a fun paddle that’s helped me play more aggressive. Definitely happy with it.

Selkirk Vanguard Power Air - S2

I have the Halo, which I wore out, The S2 Vanguard Control, which I love, Ben Johns Joola, Meh, Not so much for the price, And a CRBN tru-foam which I got for half price, but it's just ok. The S2 Vanguard Power has no power compared to the paddles I mentioned. I thought I would try an Edgeless paddle. Its a 'No' for me. It just felt dead but it had more control i kind felt. I was looking for that "This is the one" paddle because I like the short handle since I don't use 2 hands and wide body. That's why I like the S2 Power but you don't make those anymore. All in all I am a Selkirk big fan.
