The MLM Measures:

Awesome Launch Monitor For The Price

I am a novice golfer but needed better feedback for my net sessions. When I did my research this monitor came highly recommended and that was an emotional price of about $500. When I saw this for $250 I jumped on it. It gives great stats and shows me play backs of my swing. If you are looking for something to improve you game and practice sessions I highly recommend this!

I bought this to take it to the range to know my distances more precisely. i dont use the subscription and it does an amazing job for less than 250.

Good Entry-level Launch Monitor

I love the realtime feedback when using at the range. I did upgrade to the annual subscription which I would highly recommend. Like others noted, my phone gets hot in direct summer sun at the range but the unit continues to record data and all has been available on the cloud for post-range viewing.

I bought a couple of weeks ago, and it has helped me to record and improve my swing across my irons, woods, and driver. Metrics are very useful!

Must Subscribe To Even Use

This appears to be pretty accurate when you can connect it. It is difficult to see even with the highest brightness on the iPhone. You have to subscribe for the $99 annual fee to be able to use the product at all. I had no idea how useless this is without the subscription. As such, I wouldn't recommend it.

Not Great For Slow Swing Speeds (Seniors

I loved the ability to watch my swings, but really purchased for gapping my clubs. The MLM gave nearly the same distance regardless of the club hit (and yes I did select each club). I could see visually the difference between clubs, but the MLM said that nearly every shot went the same distance. Additionally, in Pittsburgh, using the device in direct sunlight will cause the phone to averheat (85 degrees actual temperature)

Accurate On Short Iron But Terrible After That

I bought this a month ago and returned it afyer after a few tries. Not the least bit accurate with long irons or woods.

No For Hot Area Over 80

I bought this almost a year ago. It was great during the winter, but the product overheats after only five golf balls when summer starts. If you live in a warmer climate area, I do not recommend this at all

Great Training Sessions…

Basic subscription is nice, but only had the free basic subscription b/c I wasn’t ready to commit to a device I wasn’t 100% committed to at the moment!. I have to purchase the next level launch monitor and simulator in one to get what I truly need…

A Little Difficult To Setup

IMO it’s somewhat difficult to setup. I reviewed the instructions and watched 2 YouTube videos. I can use it, but believe there are some aspects I’m missing.

Great launch monitor. It will truly help your game and improve your ball-striking ability. It is very easy to use and gathers a lot of shot data to review. Its very useful information that can be reviewed between yourself and your instructor on the days you don't have instruction

Works Ok Outside Of Your Not In The Sun

With the driving range being in the direct sunlight it’s very difficult to completely gap your clubs. Your phone has a tendency to overheat.
