An Update To My First Review

My first review was only after 5 rounds. Now I have my distances dialed in and am really enjoying my purchase. For anyone with a driver swing speed of 85-90 this club is for you. I don’t see any forgiveness issues over my previous I25s. I get good feedback from them and don’t lose much distance on toe hits, my usual miss. Wedge control and accuracy is super. I like a heavier regular shaft and the true temper Mid 100 is just that. Its awesome hitting my 8 iron 147 into the 10-15 mph wind we have often around Austin.

Long & Crisp

I've got about 20 rounds with these irons. It took me 7 or 8 rounds to get use to them, but once I got adjusted, these irons are long, at least a club longer than the G30's I had before. It takes some time to get use to these irons as are lighter and require getting use to a different swing tempo. I have to convince myself to back down a club on approach shots of what I would normally use. I highly recommend these irons.

Big Improvement Over I210

I had a set of i210 irons up until a year ago. It took some getting used to the i530 set, but it's such a big improvement. Sharp looking, crisp sounding, and ball flight is great. I only wish they'd still make a 2 and 3 as I loathe hitting hybrids.

Wow. They’re Long

As a senior player I was looking for more distance. These absolutely delivered. I got the graphite shafts and they’re so light they required some getting used to. I’m in Montana so our winter golf is simulator golf. I have to club down one club from my norm. My 7 iron was good for 160, now it’s 175 on a flush hit. I’m playing outside on in a few days and I’m excited about golf again

New Irons

Tried TM and Ping and I got the I530’s 7-10 yds further! great feel. The ball jumps off the face. The only criticism is the sound.
