The G430 LST 3-wood’s multi-material design combines a 2041 Beta-Ti face, Ti 8-1-1 body, and 80-gram tungsten sole plate to position the CG low/back for faster ball speed with reduced spin, producing on average seven yards more distance.
It is also engineered with a Carbonfly Wrap crown to help deliver more distance by positioning the CG closer to the force line to maximize ball speed, resulting in higher, longer carries.
The lightweight composite crown wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt, creating weight savings which are reallocated to achieve the lower the CG and increase ball speed.
The composite also plays a role in the pleasing sound.
