Featuring a larger, 460cc club head compared to other G400 models, the G400 MAX utilizes bolder Turbulators and VorTec Technology to reduce drag by 15% for speed and distance. Dragonfly Technology combines with a tungsten sole weight to create a low/deep CG for forgiveness. A forged, precision-machined face enables 16% more flex at impact to create powerful sound and distance.

Upgrade For Sure

Possibly best driver I’ve ever hit, forgiving and distance all in one

Perfect Driver

I bought this 3 weeks ago as an upgrade from a G25 driver. The change has been flat out amazing. My drives are longer by 20 yards and straight as an arrow. I simply let the cub do the work. I obviously am not a buy a new set of clubs every year person. This one driver has been the best addition to my bag ever!!

Disappointing Experience

My intentions when purchasing this club was to upgrade from my G series driver. Unfortunately this was not for me. Returned thanks to the 90 day playability guarantee offered from GG and tested out the TM Sim Max as a potential replacement. Comparing the G400 to the Sim is like apples to onions. Thrilled to be gaming the TM. First time owner of one after being loyal to Ping for so many years. Moral of my review is to test multiple brands and take the time to get appropriately fitted. End result will more than likely be in your favor.

Love This Club!

I’ve been a loyal Ping (and Golf Galaxy) customer for years. After several years using the G30 driver, I decided to upgrade to the newer G400 model. Best move I’ve made. The sweet spot feels as big as a tennis ball and even off-center hits are very forgiving. I’ve improved my distance by a good 15-20yds. I’m a high ball hitter, only reason I didn’t give “Distance” rating a 5 star. Buy it! You won’t regret it.
