Onix Sports Summit C1 Pickleball Paddle

About This Item

Product Description

The ONIX Summit C1 is similar to the original Summit paddle, but features a composite face for more spin than ever before. The Summit paddles have a radically new design that features an elongated hitting surface paired with a shortened handle, offering players a new way to grip their paddle. Designed with a table tennis handle and lengthened playing surface, the ONIX Summit C1 allows players to grip the underside of the paddle for a longer reach and better control. The paddle meets USA Pickleball (USAPA) specifications for tournament play.

Absolute Favorite Shape And Handle For Pickleball

I bought this 6 months ago and have playing with it non stop. I'm about a 4.5 in skill level and can just about place the ball how ever I want to. I love the shape and style of the paddle. The length is great for quick hands up at the kitchen and for the hard to reach defense shots that make you take a step back or lean just out of reach. The shorter handle works for me. My only complaint I'd like for Onix to upgrade the handle strength and overall materials for the core of the C1 Summit. This shape and style of paddle could easily compete against the quality paddles of Selkirk Vanguard and the Paddletek Bantam and Tempest. Onix team, if your listening, I hope that this is something being discussed for future development, I'd be happy to be an ambassador for this style of paddle, I'm looking to start competing this year in NC and hopefully other states as well. C2 Summit?......One can only hope!

Not As Comfortable As The Discontinued Summit

Have played both outdoor and indoor with both the Summit and the Summit C!... The handle on this paddle is not comfortable... The original blue Summit is lighter and better designed, but no longer available... Made in San Ysidro Mexico... No reason that the Summit cannot be reintroduced

Paddle With A Ton Of Extra Reach

This is a new paddle I found from announce and I love it. It has a longer reach so less running back and forth. I love that I can hold it like a table tennis racket and it has a shorter handle so I'm not wasting space. This has an awesome look and design. I love playing with it! It's a winner.
