Nike Men's Victory Tour 4 Golf Shoes

About This Item

Nike Victory Tour 4 Golf Shoes At its simplest, golf comes down to two things: walking and swinging. The Victory Tour 4 answers the bell to both, adding our Nike-only Flyplate technology to our timeless, premium-crafted shoe. The carbon fiber plate is designed to flex when you walk. It’s stiff when swinging, so you can stroll in comfort and rip away from wherever your ball lands. Swing and Walk Our Nike-only Flyplate technology is flexible horizontally (soft for walking) and stiff vertically (for swinging). All-Around Support Inspired by a seat-belt harness, our internal Dynamic Fit system gives you support right where you need it. The Cushlon foam midsole provides the right level of comfort and stability. Supple Upper The upper is made of soft, supple full-grain leather with a slightly pebbled texture. Better Fit Listening to our athletes’ feedback, we came up with a new frame for a better fit and shape compared to the Victory Tour 3. The internal foam collar offers sneaker-like comfort. Optimal Grip A two-pod outsole comes with a nine-spike traction pattern, giving you optimal grip when the weather gets dicey.

Caveat Emptor - Serious Quality Issues

Man, I really really wanted to like these shoes. I love the look and am a huge fan of Nike Golf. Unfortunately, the quality is just dreadful and after less than a year, I am ready to write them off as a loss and buy a pair from a more reliable brand. The Victory Tour 4 is plagued by 1) poor construction 2) inferior quality materials and 3) bad design decisions. The primary issue (as many others have mentioned) is that the tongue is connected to the upper by just a few lousy stitches, so once those start to rip - and they will, believe me - the tongue starts sliding all over the place. There is not even a loop on the tongue to tie the laces through, it just... floats around. And speaking of laces, I had to replace those after a month. This tongue issue is not only uncomfortable and makes you look silly, but it exposes your socks to the elements, rendering the water proofing useless. I could go on and on but it won't make up for my extreme disappointment.

Sliding Tongue Problem

I really loved the look of these shoes and they were pretty comfortable. The big problem is that the tongue slides down to the side. Very annoying. I chucked them after four rounds and don’t wear them anymore.

New Golf Shoes

They are comfortable and stylish. I think they run a little big.

Awesome Fit

Bought these shoes awhile back and couldn’t say enough about how much I like them

Worst Golf Shoe I've Purchased

The tongue on the shoes do not stay in place. I got a blister on the top of my foot from the tongue wearing into my skin.

Great Look, Bad Performance

I'm an avid Nike golfer, love the brand through and through, but this has been the most disappointing shoe over the past decade. They don't hold up well and the toe inevitably winds up with a giant oval of wear and tear after just about a month or so, not to mention the tongue of the shoe endlessly drifts to the side b/c of the interior loop dynamic that they've created, not to mention they run a full size larger than any other shoe they have created. Hoping to see a better version this year.

Best Nike Golf Shoe To Date!

Great shoe overall!! Very comfortable and the waterproof is excellent.

Good In Theory, Poor Execution.

Great in theory. Shoes run small, had to switch to 10.5 versus 11. Performance in these shoes is awesome. Unfortunately two months in the foam and sole is splitting from the shoe. If you are a player who creates a lot of vertical or rotational force with your legs (which id assume these shows are made for) I would stay way until Nike can figure out a way to reinforce this area of the shoe. The return process is lengthy and cumbersome and not worth the effort

The fit on these aren’t like other shoes. I started with 11 wide based on how other Nike shoes fit and they were huge. I am an 11 in every single shoe I have ever had. After reading the reviews I ordered both the 11 and 10.5. Also at the masters and Rory wanted to try a half size down and they were sold out but got connect through media and used the half size down. He was right, the 10.5 fit way better. Now I have my first pair of 10.5 shoes ever. Bottom line- go a half size down even if you have never done it.

Great Shoe But The Tongue Slip Might Drive You Crazy

Comfortable right out of the box and true to size. Only complaint is that the tongue slips to the outside on both shoes and I have to constantly readjust them. Not sure I would buy again unless the tongue issue is resolved. Other than that they are a fantastic golf shoe.

Poor Quality

Terrible quality across 4 different pairs. Laces broke on 2 pairs. Laces are too long on all of them. Not breathable like the victory pro 4. Nike did Rory dirty with this shoe. Letters peeled off on the tongue’s after first wear on almost all pairs. Shocked Nikes premium shoe would be such poor quality.

Perfect Shoes

Shoe is super comfy under the foot as well as a lot of grip. Used these on numerous courses and not once had sore feet after the round. Sizing is true no need to size up or down.

Amazing Shoes Better Than You Could Imagine

Amazing golf shoes. So comfortable for walking and great for golf.

Great Except For The Tongue.

I wore these shoes out to the course today and was surprised with how comfortable they are right out of the box. I was really impressed. During my drives and shots, I felt comfortable knowing that the stability they provided wouldn’t fail me no matter how fast or hard I swung the club. The only feedback I have/area of opportunity is the tongue. It really dug into my ankle as I walked because of how stiff it was. Wearing low socks with these shoes doesn’t work because you’ll end up wearing the front of your ankle raw. I have to rest them with crew socks but I couldn’t truly enjoy the shoe because of the amount of discomfort I had at the end of the round towards the front of the ankle because of the tongue. I hope for future models they can address this issue since it was the only negative the shoe itself had. The rest of it: looks, stability and comfort were great.

Super Comfortable And Great Support Too

Very comfortable shoes. Toe box is a little bit roomier than TW20s and I like how it hugs the heel for a more secure fit. Tested it out today on the course- grip and support are excellent. Will definitely get another pair!
