Got this paddle for a Christmas present. Haven't played much with it but 3 months later I heard noise. The inside material is broken. Don't buy this paddle. Now I read the reviews and wouldn't have wasted my money on it. Junk

Pickle Ball Princess Paddle

I bought this a couple weeks ago after I took a couple Pickleball lessons. It is a nice weight, length and width. It is definitely girlie- That is why I bought it!

Second One That Broke!

Though I really liked the grip size and weight of this racquet , my first one lasted about 6 months and the rubber edging on the tip came loose and I was unable to glue it back to attach to the top of the racquet. Thinking it was a fluke, I ordered a second racquet and a month later the same thing happened !! Beware !! I called ducks this time and am being sent a replacement , but I’m not hopeful ….

I purchased this paddle early spring of 2021 and it has a "rattle" when shaking and when hitting the ball it sounds flat. I am going to return the paddle for a better one. And, I am not a heavy/hard hitter. One of the better players said they believe the "honeycombs" are broken inside ... !!!!

Great Paddles Until It Breaks

I got this 2 days ago. I’m an beginner to intermediate player, and this was the most expensive paddle I’d had in a while so I took care of it super well. The paddle itself is great, ball travels very well and the paddle is very light weight. How’re it broke on the top section in Day 2. And I didn’t hit it hard or anything. Great paddle, but not durable

Works Great For Me!

This had everything that I wanted: small grip size, lightweight, and springy responsiveness. I bought another popular brand to compare and kept the Monarch. Had it since Sept. with no issues so far, although I am careful not to whack it against the ground.

Junk

I've now have bought 2 monarch duchess paddles in the last 3 months. I love the weight, feel and look of this paddle but both now have broke. On both of the paddles almost immediately the outside edge has came apart at the top of the paddle. The first one down by the handle cracked almost all the way through. The second one I purchased is cracked at one of the top corners and has a start of crack down by the handle again. My girlfriend bought her Selkirk Epic Prime paddle the same day I bought my first Monarch and has not had one single issue. I'm super disappointed in the quality of this paddle. I also can't find where to contact Monarch to see if I can get this replaced under some kind of warranty. Do not buy this paddle.
