Went From Senior Flex To Standard Flex With Woods, Now Hit Woods Much Better

When I was first fitted for my driver and woods, the fitter recommended senior flex woods. I hit my driver OK but struggled with my 3 and 5 woods. A pro who reviewed my swing recommended I upgrade to standard or stiff flex, so I replaced the shafts in the woods and driver with the KURO KAGE shafts. I still hit the driver well with the new shafts, but I am hitting the 3 and 5 wood a LOT better than before.

Good But Stiff Feels Way More Like A Regular

This is a great high long shaft, but I expected it to be stiffer on the stiff flex. Luckily I'm right on the border of stiff and regular so it's not really that big of a deal but if you are way out on the stiff side, the shaft is definitely gonna balloon on you more than just your average high lawn shaft just because of how flexible the tip is. I have the shaft on my five which I wanna have a very high trajectory on so it works well but it's definitely not what I expected. I wanted something a little more mid to high launch with a little more control, which is hard to get when the shaft is so flexible.

Not For Higher Swing Speeds

Bought a driver from someone, and he had swapped the stock shaft with this one...also cut it to like 43”. This shaft does not work for me at all. It’s supposed to be a stiff and it honestly feels like a regular. My ball flights are all over the place with this thing too and I usually am pretty consistent off the tee.

Great Replacement Shaft

I broke the shaft on my Ping Driver. This is the replacement that Golf Galaxy had in stock. I am very happy with it.
