Mygolfspy Was Right! Top 3 Ball On The Market

Been playing TM TP5X for the past 4 years and have been reluctant to move to a new brand let alone one owned by a “big box sporting goods store”. After thoroughly reading the latest golf ball test (2025) and seeing that the MAXFLI TOUR X performed in the top 3 for my swing speed (107mph) I decided to buy a few boxes. For only $35/doz I felt I couldn’t go wrong. With only 3 rounds of testing, I’ve made a complete switch to the MAXFLI. Over the past few weeks, I seen better ball trajectory and fewer scuffs compared to the TP5X without losing the great spin from the ball with my irons and consistent ball flight with my driver. Since my original purchase of 2 dozen, I’ve bought 6 more dozen (3 dozen dedicated to practice balls, and the other 3 dozen have been given to playing partners to share the love and knowledge)

Excellent Performance At A Fair Price

After being away from golf for over 12 years I finally came back to the game thanks to a Father’s Day gift from my daughter. I played Maxfli balls in the past and was glad to see they’re still available. I tried a lot different balls just to see what was available and without question the Tour X was head and shoulders above most and fit my game the best. Solid feel of the tee, no marshmallow squishiness here. Straight flight with nice trajectory on approach shots with controllable touch around the greens. Feels nice off the putter as well. The Pro-V1x is also a strong performer but is way more expensive and didn’t feel as nice overall as the Tour X.

Great Value For Great Quality Golf Balls

The urethane cover combined with the quality of these balls rivals the highest priced balls on the market. These balls have the spin, distance, and stopping power of higher priced balls at a much lower price point. I especially like the click feel on the putter.
