Maxfli Golf Balls

For the last two years I’ve been gaming both the Maxfli Tour X (Summer) and Tour S (Fall/Winter) and can honestly say it’s one of the best direct to consumer balls on the market at roughly 20% less cost. While the Tour X provides unmatched distance the Tour S provides me with better feel and control especially during the winter. If you haven’t tried these you should, even MGS consistently recommends the Maxfli brand over other well-known brands.

Mayflies Tour X

After reading the reviews on My Golf Spy I wanted to try these out for myself. I'm tired of paying $60 for Pro V1's. Current hdcp is 4. These are GOOD golf balls. Great distance with the driver, and feel nice coming off the irons as well. I like to play low spinning shots around the greens and these reacted very similar and as expected. Further testing needed but I felt like I didn't get great stopping on full iron shots into greens. Check and hold was good but not great and only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Was hoping to find the new Tour X LS model in store but they didn't have it yet, so I settled for the Tour X. Probably ended up being the better option as I was getting these ahead of a golf trip to Colorado so the extra spin didn't hurt with being at altitude. Performs very similar to ProV1x.
