Nice Portable Mat

I went back and forth on if this would be beneficial for me and decided to give it a go. I have been pleasantly satisfied with using this mat for my swing practice and how it is holding up. I do notice some build up on the bottom of my clubs from the mat hat have not noticed wear on the mat itself yet.

Great Little Hitting Mat

I use this in my indoor (garage) hitting bay; and have a larger green outdoor mat that I cut an opening to fit this size; I place a sheet of foam down and set this mat on top of the foam. The ball strikes are great, and if I get a little steep on the down swing the foam cushion absorbs any ground contact…. The combination is a good solution and the only part that wears out is the replaceable mat. It would be nice to recycle these somehow.

I’ve had one of these before and actually used it wrong. I just hit stationary shots. Bought it when I first started and used it like a normal hitting mat. But I’ve used this one still like a hitting mat but more as it was intended. Chip and pitch shots for a variety of distances without leaving bare spots all over my yard. So this is perfect. Also good for full swings when finding the bottom of your swing if you can’t make it to the range like I often can’t.
