Still Adjusting

I’m switching from a Legacy Pro S and still adjusting to the Hyperion Swift. This paddle has a longer handle and smaller paddle than my prior paddle. My drops have improved with the Joola, but I don’t have as much power. I’m hitting more volleys off the edge of the paddle too. Consequently, I find myself going back to my Legacy paddle, especially when playing outdoors against the wind and with harder balls. It’s a well made paddle, just not sure it’s the best fit for me.

Good Investment

This is my first good paddle. The surface does a really good job. I’m grabbing the pickle ball for spins. It has a larger sweet spot and I really like the ribbed grip on the handle. I find it a good investment and look forward to upping my scale level.
