Looks Great, Plays Okay

The design is sharp and the grip feels solid, which I liked right away. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, making it a decent choice for casual games or beginners. That said, the performance is just average—control and power are both a bit lacking compared to more advanced paddles. Good for starting out, but I’ll probably upgrade soon.

Amazing Pickleball Paddle

The Franklin Sports Pickleball Pilot Series fiberglass paddle with MaxGrit is a solid option for intermediate players looking to refine control without sacrificing too much power. As an experienced player, I appreciated the paddle’s consistent sweet spot and the reliable pop off the fiberglass face. The MaxGrit surface truly enhances spin potential, especially on third-shot drops and roll volleys, offering more command during soft play. Its lightweight feel improves maneuverability at the net, making quick hands battles easier to win. However, advanced players may notice a slight lack of stability against heavy hitters due to the paddle's lighter core. The handle is comfortable and has just the right amount of tackiness for extended play without slipping. Overall, it’s a well-balanced paddle that performs admirably for its price point and would serve recreational to advancing players particularly well. @missvenusreviews #instagram #ig #instapic #pickleball #fitness #photo

Light, Grippy, Great Quality

This pickleball paddle is pretty decent! Keep in mind that I’m a beginner pickleball player that took it up for the first time this summer, so my perspective will be from someone just getting used to pickleball in general. The initial first glance quality of this paddle is pretty high - it’s beautiful in terms of aesthetics, the grip material on the handle is smooth but still grippy, and the paddle itself is a light sandpaper smooth. It’s not too heavy that it’s difficult to hold for long periods of time or too light that it’s incapable of having some power behind the hits. It feels like the “just right” for a beginner player like me that’s on the smaller side of muscles. I can’t speak to whether this is formal professional quality, but as a beginner I’m quite pleased with it.

The racket has a flat surface. It is very light to hold. The grip is more open than the racket I am using. Also, It is very sturdy. Highly recommended
