If You Think You'll Like Pickleball, Start With Better Paddles
I bought theses paddles as a starter set to see if we like pickleball or not. I thought the price was right for that. Problem is if you determine that you do like it, theses paddles are not ideal, and you will want to buy better paddles. I thought they would be wood with a thin rubber-like coating like a ping pong paddle, but I was wrong. Nothing but wood on these paddles, which I chipped the 1st day when my paddle scraped the ground while I was trying to stop a ball from rolling past me.
