Bought this paddle in Dec 2021 to replace a less expensive paddle my daughter permanently borrowed. I was an advanced beginner at the time. This paddle has grown with me over the months. I am now ranked at 3.5. I've tried several other paddles over the months, but none quite delivers in ball control and large sweet spot. This is most helpful up at the net, ball speed, and with shot placement. I also now appreciate the grip which holds up better than most, with no stickiness. Just as importantly, this paddle saves wear and tear on my elbow and shoulder. No pain with this paddle.You have to pay about 50% more to get the same performance from competing paddles. The Crown 2 is a hidden gem.
