Saving Me Money

finally found the perfect set of irons. have tried every new club and nothing comes close therefor i get to keep my money!!

Forgiving Iron

Great all round iron not too much offset easy to play hot face and GREAT customer service. Have been golf junkie for 25 years even build some components sometimes. Have played ping Wilson etc, Wilson has the worst customer service but still like some of their irons but nobody beats Callaways service.

Best Ever

i have had these clubs about a year. i thought about upgrading to new clubs but nothing is anywhere close to these in accuracy and distance. maybe something will come along to compete with these but until then i will keep my money in my pocket

Performs As Advertised

My swing speed has slowed down over the years, but with technology my irons are flying the same distance as they were 15 years ago. It’s great to slightly miss hit a shot and it still gets there. I tend to hit the ball pretty straight, but would like to work the ball on occasion. These clubs tend to want to straighten everything out. I am a 12 handicap and these clubs help my game.

Callaway Xr Steelhead Irons. Magnificent.

I had a custom fit set of Muzuno JP900 Tour and I was relatively happy with them. I decided to try the XR Steelhead and all I can say is Wow!!!!. I got custom fitted and went for Standard Lie, 1/2 inch long and opted for the XP 115 shafts in stiff flex . Easy to hit, Very Forgiving and Very Very Long. Best set of irons I have ever had. Go on, give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Best Birthday Present Ever, Love These Irons And Hybrids!

I've had my new Steelhead XR irons since June, and they are the best. I've always been a mid-80's golfer, with a few rounds dipping into the 70's each year, but since receiving these irons, with the newer technology, I've never had so many chances at making birdies as I have with these irons, while hitting nice approach shots with them. After having a couple of par rounds in the past few months, for the first time I'm thinking of myself as 70's golfer, with anything higher than 80, being a below average round. I also purchased the Steelhead hybrids, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Same type of experience as with the irons. 185 yard to 225 yard par 3s are easy to hit consistently now for an easy par, or birdie opportunity. Thank you to everyone at Callaway for these super excellent clubs.

They are good, stronger club then xHot2's of course 3 - 4 difference in years. I carried the 4 iron 175 on par three.

Steelhead Xrs & Apex Cf16s

Enjoying my new Steelheads'. My original XRs were kind of beat-up and this is a perfect replacement. I took advantage of the %150 trade in with my old XRs adding couple of clubs that I won at tournaments. Basically I've updated my set for the same price as a dozen balls and new grips!!! I love the Steelheads as they go far with very little effort. I also hit Apex CF16s mid Summer when my swing is in tune and am willing to sacrifice a little distance for flight and feel. All in all - the Steelheads' are great and still go straight when I'm not swinging 100% or need that perfectly stuck five iron when the boss is watching!

These Irons Are Great

I bought the 5 & 6 iron to fill out my other Steelhead irons I had purchased 5 months ago. I have been playing golf for many years and these are the best irons i have ever had. They fly high and long.

Get More Distance Immediately!

Pros: It was very easy to adopt to the Steelhead XR's from my older Ping irons. I felt comfortable with them on the second day out. I gained 10+ yards on every club 5 - PW. Very forgiving on off center hits.The stock Callaway grips are excellent. Very good looking club. Cons: The SW does not have the touch and feel of my older Ping SW. Highly polished stainless steel soles scratch easily.
