Big Bertha

The Callaway Big Bertha Driver absolutely delivers on one of its biggest promises: distance. For golfers with moderate or slower swing speeds, the lightweight design helps you generate clubhead speed without feeling like you’re muscling the club. When you catch it flush, the ball jumps, and the sound at impact is one of the most satisfying in the game—clean, powerful, and confidence‑boosting. Where the Big Bertha falls short is in shot correction. If you naturally fade or slice the ball, this head design doesn’t do much to help rein it in. The club is extremely light and easy to swing, but without any built‑in offset or additional anti‑slice geometry, it won’t straighten out that right‑miss pattern on its own. That’s why I think Callaway is missing an opportunity. If they took the current Big Bertha materials and engineering—especially the lightweight construction—and added an offset version, it would be a game‑changer for golfers with slower swing speeds who need both distance and help squaring the face. The ball would go even farther simply because more players would be able to start it on the correct line. Bottom line: Great sound, great feel, great distance. But if you fight a fade or slice, you’ll need more help than this head provides. An offset Big Bertha would fill a huge gap in the lineup.

Easiest Driver I've Ever Hit!

I bought this club a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It was brand new quality. Big sweet spot too. Ball just jumps off the face. Easily picked up 20-30 yards off the tee with much greater accuracy.

Like Brand New

This could have been sold as new it was that nice. Been only able to play it on a simulator so far but like the feel of it over the Elyte I own, lighter and easier to hit.

Head Snapped Off

Wanted to love this driver, was a gift to my stepson for Xmas, went to a inside driving range, on about the 10th swing the head snapped off

Sounds Great

Loved this driver ever since I got it. My first shot with it was right down the middle. Great all around experience so far
