Poor Mat Construction
As the packaging tape was removed from the ends of the mat, it started removing a layer of the mat material. So, either the mat is poorly made, or the packing tape is too strong. Either way, the mat is being returned. I cannot speak to the performance of the mat.

Not For Pet-friendly Households
I recieved this for Christmas 2023 and immidiately my cat started damaging it. It appears to be very easy to puncture and rip. Mine has all sorts of little holes now. Would not reccomend for anyone with pets.
