Very Happy

I just traveled with my new Away luggage and it held up and still looks great! I'm very happy with it. Even though it's the Medium, it holds so much! I'm amazed at how much it can carry.

Well Made Suitcase

Flimsy Construction Masked By Elegant Design

While the plastic case itself does seem rugged and dependable, the rest of the suitcase is of poor quality. The zipper on the zipped side of the suitcase is undersized and flimsy, and it pulls apart if the zipped compartment isn't perfectly packed. The pull tab on the outer zipper of my suitcase completely pulled off, twisting the clasp on the pull so that it could not be repaired. To Away's credit, they sent me a replacement suitcase for free under their warranty - though this warranty is apparently no longer offered as of April 2026. One of the feet on the replacement suitcase broke on its very first use. Suitcases are, of course, subject to rough handling by baggage handlers. They should be built with this in mind, to stand up to some abuse. Sadly, Away luggage does not seem to be.

Favorite Suitcase Ever!

Perfect size for traveling for 2-3 weeks. You can pack it FULL and keep under 23kg. Some flights with max checked bag allowance of 20kg you’ll have to leave a little extra space. So sturdy and rolls effortlessly. Love it!!

High Quality, Premium And Reliable

I always like Away luggage since i obtained it the first time around 2021. It is light but yet reliable and provides suitable space inside. I am taking it with me whenever i go both checked in and cabin luggage.

Lavender Love

I had the original lavender bag (until it broke and I couldn’t get a replacement in the same color.) I’ve been waiting forever for this color to come back and oh my goodness it’s so beautiful in person—especially with the updated interior. It’s true what they say about purple girlies—we really do need everything in our favorite shade. And this is perfection.

Understand This Bad Is Made For A Man

So disappointed I could scream. I have the flex carry on, but wanted the matching checked bag. I did not need another flex. I wanted the card shell. The zipper have zero integrity. They are hard to zip, maneuver to the lock and then unlocking and turning the zipper is nearly impossible. I have used this bag once. I hate that it is not easy to use.

Away Medium

Just purchased my third piece of away luggage. Love Away. Was a little bummed that the Sherbet Orange was discontinued as I now have a miss match on colors. Would definitely purchase again.

Warranty Is For Real!!!

I have the Away luggage- medium, in navy blue. Recently on a trip to St. Lucia, my luggage got wrecked (by the airline). I took pictures and emailed Away - as in doing research for new suitcases, and looking at their products, we found that they offer a warranty. I told them what happened and they sent me a brand new one! Not many companies offer warranties anymore- but this company does and they were awesome to deal with! No issues at all. I will be a customer for life.

Another Great Bag From Away

This is my fourth piece from Away. I already had the two carry-ons bags that I have had for years and are still going strong. They are easy to pack, are well-designed, well-made, and easy to roll and maneuver. This check-in sized bag is exactly the same, only larger. I appreciate the grab holds on the end and side of the bag which are very helpful when you have to lift it. The large laundry bag is very nice. And the rest of the design is very similar to my smaller bags. I did consider a couple of the other premium brands that are often compared to Away, but in the end I went with what I had already had such a great experience with. The bags really do last. Yes, they do all get scuff marks, but they now include a special sponge that is supposed to help with their removal. I don't mind the scuff marks. They are battle scars and reminders of ones travel adventures!

Limited Edition Ruby Haze Is A Beauty

I was gifted a carry on in Ruby haze for Christmas by my family and I needed a medium suitcase to go with it right away. It was sold out online but found one left in the Away store in New York. Love the color and this is my third Medium suitcase. I travel a lot to different countries and Away suitcases handles it very well. The wheels glide smoothly and I can pack a lot inside my suitcase. So far, I’ve been pretty pleased with my purchases. Can’t wait to use my medium Ruby haze with the same color carry on as a set on my next trip to Rome and onward for a Mediterranean cruise
