Get to the Green With Golf Wedges for Men

Selection

No more half swings from 85 yards. Improve your short game with the best golf wedges for men.

Browse the wide selection golf club wedges at Golf Galaxy. Decide the loft you need to add to your bag. Choose pitching wedges, gap or approach wedges, sand wedges and lob wedges. Get the wedge with the proper bounce angle low, standard or high.

Shop wedges from the best names in golf, including Titleist, Cleveland, PING, Callaway, TaylorMade, Mizuno, Cobra, Nike and Top Flite.

Buying Tips

Are you replacing an existing golf wedge? Select a loft option that closely resembles your current loft for proper gapping. We recommend four to six degrees of loft between your wedges. Most players benefit from carrying four wedges, which lead to tighter yardage gaps. Each type of wedge has the following loft ranges:

  • Pitching: 44 to 49 degrees
  • Approach: 50 to 54 degrees
  • Sand: 54 to 58 degrees
  • Lob: 59 to 65 degrees

Expert Advice

Get the right bounce angle. Low bounce is ideal for firmer ground and makes it easier to get under the golf ball. Standard bounce offers the most versatility. Count on high bounce options for rough or sand shots

Consider your home course. If the greens are small, fast and elevated, you need plenty of loft. Are the bunkers filled with a lot of soft sand? Get a sand wedge with more bounce or a wider sole. Choose less bounce if the turf is firm, resulting in tight lies.

All wedge grooves wear out over time. Consider replacing your wedges every 60 to 70 rounds, or more often if you frequently practice out of bunkers.
