The G25's CG position is lower and farther back in the lower-lofted hybrids and progresses slightly forward in the higher lofts to help minimize spin and prevent ballooning. The custom engineering of the CG helps to achieve proper trajectories and creates functional distance gaps between clubs. With a weight positioned low and back raises the MOI for greater distance and forgiveness. A large hitting surface and thin face perimeter design ensures forgiveness and high ball speeds.
Progressive CG Positions:
The CG position is lower and farther back in the lower-lofted hybrids and progresses slightly forward in the higher lofts to help minimize spin and prevent ballooning (common in higher-lofted hybrids). Custom engineering of the CG helps to achieve proper trajectories and creates functional distance gaps between clubs.
External Sole Weighting:
Weight positioned low and back raises the MOI for greater distance and forgiveness.
Generous camber heel-to-toe and sole relief ensures solid contact from most lies.
Large Hitting Surface:
A large hitting surface and thin face perimeter ensure forgiveness and high ball speeds. Squared-up toe and heel improves consistency and makes alignment easy.

Just played my first round with the 17 degree, loved it. Long straight and hittable from any lie. Hit it off the tee box and was always within 10 yards of my partner's drive, where I am when I hit my driver straight. Yes it's pricey but it's worth it

As other comments mention, this club is fantastic. Easy to hit and it feels so silky when you make good contact. I have the 20* version and hit it about 215 straight as an arrow or however you choose to control it.

Like any club, this one can be mishit, but it's pretty hard to end up with a lousy shot and when you get anywhere near the sweet spot you are rewarded with long and straight. When you actually get on the sweet spot, WOW. I've never hit anything that feels as good as this club.
Club should be illegal

Absolutely the easiest club to hit, ever. I hit the 17* and 20* and it was like cheating. Stock shaft has great feel. Ping stuff aint cheap, but in this case, you get what you pay for. Long, straight, golf shots. Who doesn't want that.
