When you have a tough shot from the rough and don't think you can reach the green, grab the TaylorMade Men's SLDR Rescue to help get you out of trouble. The low and forward center of gravity, combined with additional loft, creates more distance than you thought possible. The new and improved Speed Pocket helps increase ball speed without requiring you to take a harder swing. Golf balls have reduced spin for greater distance, carry and maximum playability from tee or turf.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real solid club for fast swings I have tried 5 different hybrids and all of them were very inconsistent. Mostly due to my strong swing. Got the SLDR 3 hybrid with the x flex shaft and it is solid. Club stays with me throughout the swing. Feels very connected. Standard loft is Long. I switched the loft up 1.5 degrees and actually hit it further. Great driving ball flight, and with higher loft setting the ball comes down a little softer. Finally found my tee shot club for all but the longer Par 5's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great club(s) I bought the SLDR 4 and 3 hybrids needing a more consistent ball flight with my hybrids and that requirement was most definitely fulfilled. Great clubs but I did need to upgrade the stock shafts to adila rip 85g x flex in the 3 and a matrix atlus 85g x flex shaft which brought the ball flight down even more which is what I was really looking for. Over all this is up there with the best hybrids I have ever hit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from surprise, surprise I have never been a fan of hybrid clubs. I was visiting GG with a friend. He was looking for a new hybrid. He hit several without comment. After he hit the sldr a few times he encouraged me to try the club. I hit about ten balls. I loved it. Taylor made got it right. Balance and weight are awesome. Very easy to hit. Effortless results. If your a hybrid player or not, I recommend at least trying the club.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsure if it meets my expectations. Have only played 3 rounds, so I'm still getting used to it, may be my expectations were too high. Bought a 4H to complement my old Mizuno 7 wood, but seems the Mizuno hits the same distance so now I have 2 of the same club length. Need a few more rounds to decide. The shaft length is shorter than the Mizuno so I need to adjust to that. replaced the grip with a better Winn grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delivers on promise of performance I would buy this for the feature of being adjustable alone but it also performs outstandingly. Hybrid/rescue clubs have become the most important ones in the bag so its worth it to get the best. Distance is very consistent and forgiving with off center hits. Liked it so much I got the 2 hybrid and 3 wood SLDR also!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hybrid Club This club has a hot face and hits clean from many different lies. I have not used the adjustable loft but it is a nice feature if needed. I have the Hybrid 3 and it fit a perfect gap from my 5 iron to my 3 wood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sets up nicely, great off the tee! Replaced my (4 )Iron, much easier to hit. I love the adjustability, I can change the loft for different distances at medium to long par 3's depending on the course I am about to play. Ball flies off the face.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge upgrade from my 3 iron for trajectory and forgiveness. My speed blade 4 iron is 38.875 inches. This rescue 3-19 degree is 41.25 inches. Definately going to have be shortened at least an inch and I don't know exactly how much this will affect the swing weight.
