Enjoy the look of a fairway wood at address and the distance of a driver with the TaylorMade Men's SLDR Mini Driver. The smaller 260cc steel club head is larger than a 3-wood yet smaller than a standard driver. Carefully engineered Speed Pocket Technology helps increase ball speeds to promote additional distance from the tee. Shorter shaft length helps enhance control so each shot consistently flies true to your target. A matte silver crown is combined with a black button-back creating a club that is extremely easy to aim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No looking back... I finally gave up my driver because of its inconsistency. I believe that consistency is the key to course management and this is the answer for me. I may not have the distance I get from it than my driver, but what if the distance is not always there because I can't hit my driver consistently. It's worthless either way. At least trajectory speaking this club will take me there half way. I am consistent enough with my middle game/short game so distance isn't really the only part of the game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet Feel, "Normal" Sized Head I'm from the old school. Not a fan of the giant drivers and 3 woods everyone uses now. It takes a lot of skill out of hitting a good drive, and Pros literally abuse courses now, with many of them having to stretch their tee boxes out just to make it competitive. When I needed a new three wood / backup driver I wanted one that had a somewhat "normal" sized club face. I took a chance on this club and so far like it. Note if your ball trajectory is high, go with a lower than normal loft.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works just as advertised. Straighter than driver, longer than 3W Does just what they say. Club is the exact same length as my Rocketballz 3W, a little heavier head and shaft. Same 3W swing produces same reliable ball flight with a bit more distance. For me it's just behind my avg drive length, but 30-40 yards behind my (rare) good drives. Not sure the gain in distance on the 3W on narrow holes is worth the loss from driver on the open, wide holes. Narrow holes are also short on my course. It's definitely not worth replacing a wedge to carry all 3.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This club is fantastic I play lots of courses that put a premium on driving the ball in the fairway, and you need some length on these holes also. I can get a little loose with my driver and if there is a long carry over water or a hazard, I am a little uncomfortable with my 3 wood due to that occasional "pop-up." No fear of that with this club. It is easy to control off the tee, has good distance, and the feel is awesome. Can be hit off the fairway also, as long as it is not a tight lie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 3 wood replacement!! I bought this on a whim after demoing the it in store. On the machine I was averaging 265 yards off the fairway and close to 280 yards off the tee. In reality, I am getting close to 245-250 yards of carry and very little roll out from the fairway and 265-270 yards from the tee. The ball flight is awesome and it is very easy to hit from the tee and fairway. If you are thinking about picking this up....DO IT!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The club is just not very long off the tee. I was hoping to get 230-240 yards I like the club but I am disappointed in the distance. I've hit some drives that have great ball flight and appear long only to find I'm not getting the distance from the club. My longest drive has only been 215 yards. If I connect on my other Taylor Made driver I can reach 275 but I'm not consistently straight. It's not easy to hit off the turf either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great club, I absolutely love it! Not only do I like the smaller than normal size of the head, but the fact that I can tee it right down to the ground and also use it on the fairway is great. Because the head is smaller than the drivers out there today, I hit the ball more consistently with no loss of distance at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BUY THIS CLUB if you struggle with the larger head drivers. Buy this immediately. Took it out for the first time and was hitting it 240-250 right down the middle. I struggle with the adjustable drivers and probably average 200 off the tee with them. This thing has changed my game.
