The RocketBallz driver offers a variety of technologies including Flight Control Technology (FCT), which has been further enhanced by enabling loft adjustments up to 1.5 degrees and a face angle up to 3 degrees. With a maximum sized titanium clubhead (460cc) and a Thick-Thin Crown design, RocketBallz lowers the Center of Gravity (CG) for increased swing speed and longer distances off the tee. Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) promotes more ball speed on off-center hits - making it a very forgiving driver. Aesthetically, the white crown and black face combination makes alignment easy and eliminates any glare on top of the clubhead. If these enhancements weren't enough, RocketBallz also features a lightweight Matrix XCON 5 shaft and TaylorMade's own performance lightweight FCT Lite grip.

  • Low and forward CG, for more speed with optimal launch
  • Slight draw bias, for more distance
  • Shaft: XCON 5
  • Grip: FCT Lite

"The combination of light weight, faster aerodynamics, and the customization of FCT is what makes this driver an absolute monster." - Tom Olsavsky, TaylorMade Senior Director - Metalwood Creation

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ever! First of all a word of advice. Get fitted! I went into my local Golf Galaxy and told the fitter to hook me up with a driver. Long story short I ended up with the Taylormade Rocketballz in 8.5 degree loft. I had been playing a Burner with 10.5 loft. I've always fought a slice and I now occasionally get a draw. Most important I've added an average of 30 yards to my drives. Even when I mishit it I'm longer than I was with my old river. It's a great driver..but get fitted!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase I am your typical weekend warrior when it comes to golf. I am a newbie if you will. I was swinging a Nike 10.5 R Flex Driver before I picked up this bad boy. I got fitted (I advise you to pay the Extra $ to get fitted) and now I swing a 9.5 S Flex. Amazing results. Farther & Straighter drives. I was averaging probably 220 - 240 on my drives, first time up on a short 315 Par 4, I put the ball on the fringe on the front of the green. Great Purchase. Love this driver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this driver I have always played Callaway Drivers. My most recent was the FTiz. I tested the RocketBallz, and had it set with a lower launch setting after hitting in the simulator. I have a lower swing speed in the 90's. Bought regular flex. I love the light feel, it is so easy to swing. I am definitely hitting 15-20 yards longer. My ball trajectory is lower and more penetrating. Club also makes a crisp sound with good contact. Very impressed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not great Good not great sums up this driver. This is geared toward mid to high level handicappers. Working the ball is not easy with this driver. The light weight does not allow for any feel throughout the swing. I, like another reviewer, typically hit a draw with a driver and was hitting a draw in the simulator. I find it very hard to hit a draw with this club. I should have spent the money on a R11.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wasted $300 I bought this driver because I was hitting it well in simulator with a nice draw around 290 yards. I went and hit a bucket with it and its loud and fades horribly even when I try real hard to draw the ball it still fades off at the end. This is annoying and I hate that I wasted my money on this club. Feel like I'm losing 20 yards with that fade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Driver I try to play 2x a week, I have an R11 that I like, but I love this RBZ driver. I get about 15 yards more on my drive, the ball flight really goes straighter. This is a good driver for mid level handicappers, I can fade it, but I can't put a good draw on it. Light club with a nice feel, plus I got fitted which is very important.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is one of the best clubs I have ever hit It was effortless to hit this club 300 yds. I can't wait to play some tournaments with this weapon and it just shows the way technology continues to take off. Bravo TaylorMade!!!! I feel honored to have been able to hit the club before it was released to the public.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Great Driver A great driver. Delivers solid performance. Swing feels very smooth. Adds about 30 yards to my drives, coming from a 2009 Burner Superfast. Wish the loft settings were a bit easier to adjust, but still pretty straight forward. I really like the color scheme.
