Achieve longer drives, thanks to reduced spin off the tee, while maintaining superior feel shot-after-shot. The cast urethane cover generates exceptional spin with short irons and wedges for unmatched stopping power - land the ball closer to the pin for shorter putts and lower scores.

  • Soft Tech urethane cover
  • Reduced spin off of the tee for more distance
  • Aerodynamic, 360 dimple construction
  • Enhanced spin with short irons and wedges
  • Unmatched stopping power on the green
  • Ideal for mid-handicap players

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid mid level golf ball! This a great ball as a middle ground in golf balls. Spin on wedges goes from a drop and stop up to pull backs. Distance is similar to higher priced balls. Only reason for four stars is how much I prefer tour preferred. This is a good practice round or off season balls for demanding players.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Performer Recently put this ball into play. I am mid-tier ball player, I usually play balls in the 25-35 dollar range. This ball stands up to any of the other at that price point. I found this ball was a bit shorter than others in the price range for me, but was very responsive around the green.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay ball I bought this ball about a week ago just experimenting different balls. It has pretty good feel around the green but where I didn't like it is off the tee especially with drivers. It seemed to get a little less distance than other balls such as the titleist pro v1x and bridgestone e6. It is soft around the greens but for me its almost to soft. Very slow of the putter, you have to give it more of a hit than other balls. I would recommend getting a titleist ball, if you dont want to spend as much as the pro v1 and pro v1x are I have tried the dt solo and nxt tour and both are good balls. With the pro v1 I hit off the driver about 240 and I am only 12 years old but with this ball I was only hitting about 210-220. Also on the greens it didnt have quite the stop that the titleist balls have. All in all pretty decent ball I would recommend it to a beginner though not someone who plays around a higher handicap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TaylorMade Project A Balls are Great! The Project A ball's urethane cover not only yields spin around the greens...it's super durable. I played a full 18 with one and following the round, the cover surprised me with absolutely no scuff marks or visible wear. For the first time in many years, I played with the same ball again. The Project A's exceed the durability of other soft urethane balls I've used. It's a beaut!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Compromise! Coming back to the game after major surgery is never easy and since I knew I didn't have the speed in my swing to hit a tour ball yet, I chose Project A. On the course I got sufficient distance and spin with a nice soft feel even though my swing is not yet back to its old form. A low handicap amateur might benefit greatly from using the Project A over a tour ball.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Been searching and experimenting for months. Bought these balls after doing some internet research on ball characteristics. I reluctantly gave up on Pro V's because of distance off driver. Experimented with several distance balls but no grip on green. These Project A balls seem to go straight, have good stopping power on green, and I'm feeling ok with distance off tees. Just bought 2 dozen more!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good ball offers the same playability as the Titleist I was playing. It is a good ball the idea was to create a ball the flys far and stops quick with approach shots. I don't think it goes any farther than the Titleist I was playing. There was a little more spin with wedge shots but not all approach shots. Good ball for loyal TaylorMade players.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best ball on the market I have played all the balls in the market from the titalest, callaway, srixzon, and the top Taylormade balls. This ball has the distance off the tee you look for and the spin and control on the greens. I will be playing this ball till they stop making them. Hopefully they won't.
