First came RocketBallz, then RocketBallz-ier, now JetSpeed - longest just got longer again because crazy speed runs in the family. The TaylorMade Men's JetSpeed Driver offers a specially engineered Speed Pocket resulting in more face flexing for explosive distance. A low-and-forward center of gravity produces high-launching shots, with reduced spin, for maximum playability. Long and light construction, featuring a 46" shaft and 299g head weight, enhances swing speed - helping you pick up a few extra yards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgraded and very happy. I upgraded to this from a Burner 2.0 driver and am extremely happy with the results. My distance increased on average between 10-15 yards and I feel like I really do have less mishits with the lower sweet spot as I tee up the ball pretty low even for a driver. The driver is very light compared to many current models though. So if you are used to having some weight to your clubs there may be a small adjustment. As of the time of writing this I haven't used the loft adjustment as I prefer to stick at 10.5. If you want a quality driver that you don't need to have tinker with sliders or adjusting the head, then you can't go wrong with this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent driver for slice correction I used to swing an Aurelius Emperor and sliced 99 out of 100 times (or it seemed like it). Recently, I won a brand new Jetspeed Driver and 3H at an auction. I took them to Golf Galaxy to have them extended 2" (I am 6'7") and regripped with fatter grips. I took them to a range and immediately saw my drive improve; I was hitting a few straight, even. I have since enrolled in lessons to work out the kinks but the PGA Master Pro at the course agrees that my club has a lot to do with my swing improvement. Anyway, if you have a slicing problem, get this club. It will help you shoot straighter and further.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Plain Impressed My normal drive with my Big Bertha knockoff was 235 if I kept off of it and hit it straight. Golfing with a buddy recently, he's let me use his R5 and I've managed to pull about 250 out of it. Again, backing off to keep it straight. Picked up this driver at a local driving range to test it out, a few practice swings and my first shot rolled under the 275 sign... a few shots later I'm rolling the ball up in front of the 300 sign consistently. I emailed Taylormade customer service and offered to give the club designer a hug... they respectfully declined.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy club to swing On a whim I purchased this club as a 2014 leftover. Went in looking for the new Aeroburner to replace an aging Tailor-made R1. I found the AB club head to be so light that it was hard to swing consistently. The salesman suggested I give this a try and was instantly pleased. I'm sure the AB would have proved to be a great club in the end, but off-the-rack the Jetspeed just swung evenly back to back to back. Slightly heavier head and not the most high tech shaft, but for a novice player it perfect. Plus the slightly larger face has proven to be much more forgiving than the old R1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good purchase I bought this a couple weeks ago and enjoyed hitting it. I didn't know i could adjust the loft when I purchased it, but i found that feature helpful to customize it to my swing. I wanted to try out the SLDR, but this driver was on sale and it does the job. One thing i didn't like too much was that the head seems to be angled for a draw. I had to adjust my grip to play more of a fade because I already hit a draw naturally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW, I love it! I never do reviews, but this time I must. I had a Taylor Made Burner that I just could not get rid of a SLICE, I had this club at a rental and it felt great, didn't slice in 16 of 18 holes. I went to a TM Demo and again, kept hitting it straight or left. I saw the deal to buy this and get a free fairway wood, so i bit the bullet yesterday. Played a round of golf with my son. One slice and the rest either straight or slight left, The club just feels right for me and I beat my son!!!!! by 1 stroke

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lowered My Score I had a R5 Driver that I traded in on this newer model. I don't know if it is the driver or the shaft but, I have lowered my score by 9 strokes for 2 consecutive rounds. My playing partners hit from the white tees and I hit from the gold and now I am not the first to hit after teeing off. I did not change the loft adjustment. I like it but, I am afraid it will help lower my handicap and I will have to hit from the white tees. I will let you know how it does by the end of the season

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gained 10 Yards I had a Taylormade R7 driver 9.5 loft stiff shaft. I tried the Taylormade SLDR 10.5 loft stiff shaft....I was dissappointed that the distance was the same as my old driver. Then I tried the Taylormade Jetspeed 10.5 loft stiff shaft and gained a consistent +10 yards. It seemed like the swing weight of the Jetspeed was lighter than both my old R7 and the SLDR. The club seems to fly much higher than my old driver, so I'm not sure that lofting up was necessary with the Jetspeed.
