Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Clubs........Poor Grips This is my 5th set of Ping irons (G Max Irons) over a span of 30 years....and they have all been great. These irons are really nice and work as advertised. I am however, very disappointed with the grips on them....they are extremely slick and of very poor quality. I don't think you should pay $999.00 for a set of irons and 2 weeks later pay $150.00 for new grips so you can hold onto them. Absolutely no satisfaction from Ping customer service when I contacted them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pure, very forgiving I had the Karsten irons (2013/14 model) and loved them. My son wanted to upgrade, so I offered him the Karstens and I upgraded to the GMAX (I play much more than he, so it was only fair). These clubs are hitting more pure shots and are even more forgiving. I couldn't be happier with a set of irons.
