Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic driver! I've played 2 rounds with this driver and shot 87 both rounds. My normal scores this year (my first year back after 11 yrs away) have been 93-96 with my game off the tee being a detriment. I've played it at 12 degrees and haven't adjusted it. My ball flight is higher and penetrating and even mishits are going about 85-90% as far as good hits! I'm 51 with average swing speed and the key is to let the club do the work and not overswing. I've hit a lot of fairways and the misses are not too far off! I'm SO happy I bought this club!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Best Driver Yet I purchased this a couple of months ago after testing out in the store. Not disappointed. I am not a long ball hitter so any extra distance is a big help especially when playing with younger folks from the white tees. I am a senior and also play from the senior tees. Besides distance, improved control. Minimal slices and those that do occur are clearly operator error. Easily took 7-10 strokes off my game no matter which tees I play from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very forgiving driver goes a mile. I purchased this club one month ago today 3/8/16 and ws so excited to get to the range. At first im pression the club seemed way lighter and had a way bigger face than my previous driver from a different company. I also purchased a regular flex instead of my usual stiff flex. My first couple drives had a slight draw but being early in the season that was expected. Then a few were some pretty good slices. After some adjusting and a few more balls the club started to show its true colors. The sound of that first solid hit right in the sweet spot was unlike one i was used to with my older driver. It was the sweetest Ping ever and that ball went slightly further than I was used to at this certain range where the yardage flags are usually spot on. The club handled beautifully even on off center hits. I did not get into adjusting the loft of the club yet but will after a few more rounds with it. There is no slice draw adjustment which is fine with me those should be fixed in your swing anyway. When I tested this club at Golf Galaxy The club gave me more spin than any of the other Three I tested. I only have around an 87 mph swing but the club still allows me to hit the 250 yard mark pretty consistently. ( which is fine for a 45 year old man I think) I have much more confidence with this club oh ya and I love the look of it too ( kind of a flat black on top with some grooves that supposedly make it glide through the air with less resistance) Grab this club you wont be disappointed I promise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Wasn't even looking at this driver, tried Titleist 915 and Taylor Made M2 and the salesman told me just conversation to try the Ping G. Hit all 3 straight with the first two 250 yards consistently. Then the Ping and 270 yards consistently with the worst drive still 6 yards longer then the other two. All I could say was wow and walked out the door with the Ping in my Titleist bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from G series driver: love the feel, the look, and the results had a fitting at GG and this driver was best for me - gained 15-20 yds off the tee and the Straight Flight technology works!!! Trying to get used to hitting a straight tee ball is fun!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Driver First time with graphite shaft. Great feel for ball coming off the club face. Getting 10 more yards with much more relaxed swing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST have driver!!!! I originally purchased the G driver with a Soft Regular shaft, which I normally use. But, that shaft was sooooo whippy that I was all over the place instead of down the middle. So, I switched to the Regular shaft and got the G Sf Tec (Straight Flight Tec). Regular Shaft so much better--like night and day. I got the SF Tec in the 2nd driver since I had that in my G-30 driver. Also much better than just a standard 'G' driver. I highly recommend the G SF Tec Regular flex.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straight and Long! I was fitted for the Ping G SF Tec after hitting the Titleist 915D2 and TaylorMade M2. I hit the Ping farther and straighter. I will admit that the M2 seemed to go a little farther on a pure swing, but I liked the overall consistency with the Ping. The Ping was more forgiving for me and my miss hits still had good distance. I have an out to in swing path so my miss is a slice, while no club will fix my swing flaws, this club allows me to better enjoy my round. I previously had a TaylorMade R1, but I was not consistent with it. The weight on the Ping allows me to close and square my face better at contact, plus I was getting better launch numbers compared to the other drivers. I played today and shot my lowest round of the year. I definitely believe this driver helped me shoot lower and I look forward to going even lower with more rounds and lessons! Thanks Ping!
