Get closer easier with the long, forgiving PING G Hybrid. The tiered internal sole engages bending across the Carpenter 455 face, increasing ball speed and distance, and the variable thickness of the face makes it hotter. Turbulator technology reduces drag and frames the ball, inspiring confidence at address, and the stable head design promotes higher launch on approach.

G tiered internal sole

Tiered internal sole

  • Cascading structure relieves stress at impact by engaging the entire face
  • Increases face bending to maximize transfer of energy
  • More energy transfer translates to fast ball speeds and big distance

Turbulator technology

  • Helps reduce drag through the impact zone
  • Improves head speed and ball velocity
  • Affords sizeable distance gains, aids alignment

Details

  • Variable-thickness Carpenter 455 face further enhances bend to reduce spin, increasing distance
  • Stable head design promotes higher launch and more carry distance
  • Thinner crown affords low, back CG, resulting in longer, more accurate shots
  • ALTA 70 high-balance-point shaft creates more energy
  • PING 5L grip enhances feel

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Couldn't hit these clubs I purchased the #4, 5, 6 hybrids. I could not hit these clubs consistently. I have since traded them in and purchased a #3 16 degree and #5 19 degree fairway wood that are easy to hit and gives me great distance. I have the Ping G-Max irons, 6i-UW and ordered the 4i and 5i. If these perform like the 6i then I should be happy. The SF Tech fairway woods gives the ball a slight right to left flight when used with a premium ball like Callaway Chrome or the Titliest pro V1, and a dead straight flight with a simple 2 piece ball like the Titleist DT Solo. Very happy with these clubs vs the hybrids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hybrid First time using to hybrids. Should have done it years ago. Easier to get up in the air and control trajectory than long irons.
