Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rangefinder I bought this rangefinder approximately two months ago. This rangefinder has done everything they said it would. Picks up flag with no problem and I play a course that does not have prisms on their flags. Can scan and get yardages to front of greens or to hazards. The last couple of weeks where I play it has been around 100 degrees I have not had any problems with the lens melting especially after only playing two holes as one reviewer stated. Great rangefinder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything I need. I have had mine for over a year and have been very pleased with it. Sometimes I have a hard time hitting the flag and ill get a false number and when it foggy or the sun is directly in line it may not work. I found that my buddy's more expense Bushnell does the same thing. It is small enough to fit in your pocket and battery seem to last ( always keep a spare battery in your bag ). It doesnt have a slop reading but not that big of a deal for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not bad but spend 50 bucks more I bought this two days ago and played one round. During that round I noticed a mark when I looked through the lense which looked like an eye floaty when you look up at the sky. It turns out that durn the first two holes the Sun had somehow melted part of the lens. I brought I back and one of the guys at the counter said the lenses are cheap and can do that. Luckily they refunded my money and now I have the bushnell v3 and I love it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Condensation I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. She's used it 8 times. Most recently, condensation built up in the viewing lens and could not be removed. She was able to get a new one replaced by Golf Galaxy. Hopefully. she won't have this problem again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Had to return it and get a Bushnell V3 It wasn't accurate and when you would look through the eyepiece you couldn't always see anything. It's like you had to have it in the exact perfect position. I thought it might have just been mine but I tried a bunch of Nikkon's and they all were like that. Glad I spent a little extra for a lot better product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect (for what i needed) I was just looking for a range finder to speed up my round. Hate the guessing game on those courses that the yardage are not marked very well. The Cool 40 is perfect for what I needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Definitely go with the Jolt! I've used this for about 6 rounds and am just not happy with it. Doesn't do a very good job of identifying the flag, so distances are always inaccurate.
