Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a Driver user I have played golf for over 30 yrs and never could hit a driver so I never carried one; the shaft was too long for my swing and when the trend went to the larger head I liked them less. I never saw an advantage for me since I out drove most of my playing partners with my 3W that I used off the tee but then I heard about these new mini drivers which are technically an old 2W. I tried the taylormade mini and loved it then came back a week later to purchase it and was introduced to the newly arrived Calloway mini driver. After a few minutes in the simulator there was hardly any hesitation. When I took it out on the course I started hitting it at least 30 yards farther than my 3W. I am ver yhappy with my purchase and highly recommend it. It feels good, sounds good (not like that hollow sound from those ciabatta size driver heads) and has a good looking profile on setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straight and long I bought this about a week ago because I can hit a three wood well but am all over the place and not any longer with my amp cell driver. This club gets me three wood speed and with greater distance. In fact, I hit this longer than my best driver shots. It's added 20 to 30 yards to my game. Hitting greens in two on part 4s is now the usual. It's also extremely straight. I usually hit a fade or slice with my driver. I hit this club as straight as an arrow. It's almost impossible to slice. I'm 69 years old and usually scored around 94 and would get in trouble a lot with the driver. All three rounds with the mini produced scores of 87 or less. Buy if you want more distance and less trouble of the tee. I don't even carry my driver anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The missing club I'm a 59yo, 10 hdcp. Bought the 12 degree and it hits the yardages I was missing (210-225) in my bag. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Say Hello to My Little Friend I was looking for improved forgiveness and control with my driver and found those attributes in the Bertha Mini. I don't mind sacrificing a few yard off the tee for better accuracy. I have hit a few drives with this club that were equal to my previous 10.5 driver, but straighter and with more roll. Very satisfied and more confident with this product from Callaway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced my regular driver in my bag I purchased the 12* Mini Driver 1.5 with the Kuro Kage Silver shaft, which is a low launching shaft 45" in length. When first hitting it, I found my normal draw had turned into shots leaking to the right. After some more research, I discovered that the Neutral setting is actual 1* open. I adjusted the OptiFit adapter to the Draw setting to square the clubface and I added +1 degree to increase the loft to 13* to offset the low launching Kuro Kage Silver shaft and immediately started hitting drives down the middle of the fairway as far as I hit my regular driver and at time even farther but with more consistent drives in play. Please note this is not a "Game Improvement" club and to hit it from the fairway requires considerable skill and a swing speed over 100 mph. I have it in my bag replacing my driver and hit fairway shots with my 4-wood or 3-hybrid. This is a great club and I couldn't be more pleased having it in my bag.
