Career Highlights:

Prior to coming to Golf Galaxy I was a graduate of Florida’s Golf Academy of the South and a Teaching Professional at Fresh Meadows Golf Practice Center 1995-2000. My prior teaching experience also includes being an Assistant Golf Professional at White Eagle G.C, Royal Fox C.C, and Prairie Landing G.C.

Teaching Principles:

The basics are the key to improving your game, whether you’re an advanced player or a beginner. I will help you build a foundation for great play with a proper grip, good pre-shot routine, set-up and alignment. A lesson with me includes the use simple drills to promote feel and V1 video technology to provide a visual of proper position and motion.

Teaching Principles:

As a teacher I strive to help students learn the fundamentals of the game and how they relate to the individual's ability. Each student will learn how to make a repeatable, efficient, and powerful swing. These characteristics are the foundation for consistent performance and having the most FUN!!!

The v1 Golf Academy video analysis makes it very easy to show students their strengths and challenges in their swing. The video analysis paired with my instruction foster an efficient learning environment.

I also demonstrate how correctly fitted equipment can have a dramatic impact on consistency and their ability to fully enjoy the game.

Teaching Principles:

Most important items are Grip, Posture, and Alignment. I teach according to your body type, and I do not teach a "method". Each player has a unique physical structure and flexibility. I prefer to take the swing you bring and maximize your potential rather than try creating a swing that does not naturally fit your body. I work around the students’ existing ball flight and distance capability taking intermediate steps to a build a better long-term golf game that stays with you.
