"The Burner SuperFast 2.0 feels great and looks fantastic. No other driver can compete with the speed, performance, and the distance. It's such a good driver - it's ridiculous!" - Jason Day, PGA Professional
"I constantly look for more speed, performance, and distance. I found all three in the Burner SuperFast 2.0." - Camilo Villegas, PGA Professional
Longer. Lighter. Faster.
Improved SuperFast Technology and a more aerodynamic clubhead shape makes it longer, lighter and faster. At only 279 grams, it's lighter and faster than any previous TaylorMade driver, while the ultra-large face promotes higher launch and lower spin, all for more distance.
Aero Shaped for Faster Speed
The advanced aerodynamics of the clubhead allows wind to flow more quickly and smoothly over the crown to reduce drag and increase head speed.
SuperFast Technology promotes faster swing speeds for greater distance
SuperFast Technology was developed for Burner golf clubs to promote faster swing speed for greater distance. Elements of SuperFast Technology include lighter shafts, lighter grips, longer club-length, larger and more forgiving clubheads, larger and higher/faster coefficient of restitution (COR) clubfaces, more aerodynamic clubhead shapes and low and precision-placed center of gravity (CG) location that promotes higher launch angles and lower spin-rates -- launch conditions that promote maximum distance.
Expanded Sweet Spot
TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology was developed to expand the COR zone of TaylorMade drivers. The Inverted Cone is CNC-milled directly into the inner side of the clubface to exacting dimensions and results in a drastic variation in face thickness-from 3.1 to 1.6 mm. Inverted Cone Technology radically changes the way the clubface behaves at impact, resulting in an expanded COR zone that promotes faster ball speed and longer distance on off-center hits.
Ultra-Thin Wall Technology
Ultra-Thin Wall Technology is a casting process that allows for clubhead walls measuring a mere .6mm thick, which is 40% thinner than the walls of most competitive drivers. This saves weight and allows TaylorMade engineers to strategically position the saved weight in order to precisely position the CG in a location that optimizes performance.
The Science of White
The contrast between the white crown and black clubface makes it easy to align the Burner SuperFast 2.0 accurately at address. The matte white finish eliminates hot spots and glare to promote improved focus. The white head looks larger to promote more confidence and a fast, free swing speed.

Great Driver for the Average Golfer!
Gene Pozniakoff from St.Louis, MO | 7/27/2011 8:18 AM
I have struggled off the tee for many years. I was always 20 - 50 yds. shorter than my buddies. I did a Driver Fitting at Golf Galaxy. I hit 5 different drivers, and the Burner 2.0 had the fastest swing speed and fastest ball speed. Now I am hitting the ball farther and straighter than ever before! I even hit a 6 iron into a par 5 green for the first time ever. I am very happy with this driver and would suggest it for most golfers. My handicap has come down from 16.5 to 13! Woo Hoo!
Couldn't hit it a first, then wow!!!
Adam Estrada from San Antonio, TX | 7/10/2011 9:45 PM
Sorry, but it is not the driver. It is the golfer. Couldn't hit it a first, then wow!!! Only problem, it is too expensive, Glad my buddy bought the hype and not me. Overall good driver.
I am now all TaylorMade Products
Dan Capua from Chicago, IL | 7/5/2011 10:20 AM
This Driver is 15 yards longer than my Ping g15. The best way to hit it, is hit it easy. If you try to kill it you will be all over the place. Tempo is key and this club will serve you well and keep you in the fairway.
TaylorMade has a winner here.
This is ok
Jofar from Hillsboro, OR | 6/22/2011 3:52 AM
This is an ok driver. You can get it out there 320 but when you miss, you miss bad. I had a hook before. Now I miss way, way right. I mean 50 to 60 yards, but I don't miss a lot so overall pretty good.
I like the feel, the looks. I hit a lot more fairways.
Mike Quirk from Severn, MD | 5/10/2011 3:51 PM
I am a senior golfer & bought the HT (13*). I don't have trouble with the length. But I have not increased the distance at all.
