The 20XI-S features higher levels of tour spin and control without sacrificing distance. The radical new resin core provides faster initial velocity for maximum distance, generating the highest levels of MOI for longer, more controlled shots. The 20XI-S also includes a steeper spin slope for lower driver spin and higher wedge spin.

Longer Than ProV1's
Scott Pickering from Greenville, PA | 8/25/2011 8:16 AM
Compared to the ProV1's I have played for years I find these to be 10yd longer off the tee. I use a 9.5 degree Machspeed and think I get faster ball speed and more roll as well. Similar spin to ProV's around the green and putt the same. I think they especially play better in the wind than the ProV. Highly recommend these.
Unlike any other 'tour' ball on the market
Ronnie from Dallas, TX | 7/14/2011 11:14 AM
The 20XI-s ball for me is a mixed bag. It's LONG for sure, and does combine lot's of spin around the greens...almost too much. About 10 yds shorter on carry, but 20-25 yds longer on roll out off the tee. This leads to a lot of missed fairways just from roll out. The spin around the green was the most frustrating. The ball had a ton of spin, so much so that even after 4 days at the practice area, still couldn't dial in distance consistently. Great roll on the greens though, consistent roll.

I usually play the Taylormade Penta TP ball or the Pro V1, I recently wanted to try something new so I bought the Nike 20xi-s ball. I noticed my drives were not near as far as they normally are but I was able to spin the ball more than normal with my wedges, even on very short chips. I have never been a Nike fan but I think I could get used to these balls, even though they are shorter off the tee they play great off irons and wedges. I would buy them again.
Good spin, very little distance
Tad Whitley from Hays, NC | 5/24/2011 7:55 AM
Played this ball in a GCAT event and lost several yards in distance. Spin off of my wedges was great but I didn't like the way the ball felt on the greens. Ball flight was pretty good and I felt like I had good control off the tee. I just can't get over losing ten yards in distance. Probably won't buy this ball again. This could be a great ball with a few small changes but if you're playing another tour ball right now stay with it and wait for Nike to update the 20XI line.

The 20XI S is a very good ball. It felt great off of the driver and has a great amount of spin. It's also very consistent. Definitely recommend the ball.
