In the design of the i15 iron, PING engineers focused on the needs of the better player who benefits from an iron set that offers the control to play a variety of shots. Created as a progressive set, the longer irons are larger for more forgiveness while the mid- and short-irons transition slightly smaller to ensure more workability and control on approach shots. The stainless steel iron features a tungsten toe insert to add forgiveness to the mid-size design. A stabilizing bar and floating Custom Tuning Port (CTP) provide the feel and sound attributes preferred by better players.

Excellent Progressive Iron Set
Southpaw from Williamsburg, VA | 8/5/2011 10:26 PM
I am a avid golfer with a 6 handicap. Just traded my Cobra forged set for a custom fitted I-15 set and still cannot believe the workability these clubs give me over all the others I have tried. I have never hit so accurate with such little effort. I can really shape my shots from my 3-iron all the way down to my 8-iron. Excellent set but make sure you get fitted properly.
Best Progressive Set Around
PINGman from St. Louis, Missouri | 2/13/2011 1:02 AM
More rewarding when hit well, as a forged is, but still forgiving, like a cavity back. The perfect progressive set. I hit these in the store and fell in love with them. If you're a pretty good golfer but not exactly scratch these are perfect.
Never been happier with a set of clubs
Brock Shepard from Texas | 12/4/2010 4:17 PM
I was hitting Ping I3's oversized. My game was ok, but I was not getting the control I wanted. I was sized for the I15's and my game has improved. I have taken at least 3-5 strokes off of my game on average. I am also able to get more control over my shots. I have never liked a set of irons as much as these. I would recommend them to anyone. Once you hit these irons you won't want to put anything else in your bag.
Best club I have ever played.
Roadking04 from Pewaukee/WI | 6/8/2010 6:16 PM
I recently switched from Big Bertha 06 model. I knew that I wanted something with a thinner top line. I tried out several models at the local Golf Galaxy and settled with the I15's, they just felt good. I was fitted for Blue dot, std length, steel stiff shaft. I have picked up 10-15yds with each club. I now hit my 6 iron 190yds, as opposed to 175 with my old clubs. I have been able to work the ball left and right with relative ease. To sum it up, I could not be happier with my decision.
