Slippery when wet or damp
Dustin Thomas from Nashville, TN | 7/30/2012 8:41 PM
I just put these one my irons. After 3 rounds they are coming off. They feel great and are quite tacky until you start to sweat. If these grips or yours hands get slightly damp they get very slick. I had to carry a towel with me to every shot with an iron. I would not recommend these grips. Go with either the vdr's, the tour velvet, or the new decades.
Great bang for buck..

This grip is about as good as you can get for the price.. It's extremely tacky and feels great especially using a glove. It feels as if it literally won't slip, ever. The key to keeping these grips in top shape is to consistently towel them during practice or round and to give them a good soap/water scrub every few weeks. The dirt/oil from your hands will build up as with any grip.
Only downside...wet conditions. These grips get slick when wet, so a towel is critical to maintenance.
Solid product

Very good tackiness, used all last season and I can't find any wear spots. Not great when they're soaking wet, but not many grips are. Very sharp looking, and great value for the money. A rib version would be nice, but all in all they are a very good grip.
Tacky...until wet!

I really liked the initial tackiness of this grip. I then started to notice that my game was getting worse since putting these grips on. I realized that the grips might be causing the problem. When I go to the range, after about thirty shots, my hits all started going left. I noticed that the club face was closed at impact. My hands were sweaty and the grips were slick causing the rotation. Grabbed an old club with Ping grip and no problem. Sweaty hands are bad with this grip. Do not get.
