No Need for a Driver

I visited the Houston Golf Galaxy store on a whim a took a look at the 3 Deep 14.5 wood. My first swing on the simulator traveled 250 off the mat. And 10 swings later, I walked out with this club. On the course, it consistently went 10 yards farther...than my DRIVER. The group I was with was as shocked as I was. Par 5's turned into par 4's. I have distance AND in the fairway. No need for my Diablo Octane Driver any more.

I tried every 3 wood in the store and there was something about the way the ball exploded off this club. I really didn't like the looks or set up but I bought it anyway, and am I glad I did. This club is acting as my driver at the moment because I hit it 25 yards further than my TM Stage 2 driver. This is in real life on the course not going by some simulator numbers. It is really unbelievable how the ball just jumps off the club face. I will be trading in my TM driver for the X Hot driver soon.

Spent a couple hours taking on pretty much every 3 wood golf galaxy had and this one came out on top with great stats. Ball speed was another 5-7 mph faster than the Rocketballz, which led to a little more distance. However what sold me on this was the shot shaping ability of this club. Very easy to hit this club in any way. Even shots slightly off center went just as long (maybe 3-5 yards shorter), but that is pretty good. A must buy regardless of price.

I am normally skeptical when manufacturer and advertiser say a club will be longer. I was equally skeptical about this FW but it was a Birthday gift and I was accustomed to my PING G-15 3 Wood. Never let me down. This club is fantastic, long long and longer. Easy to hit and flies right to the target. The 3 Wood was so great. I went and got the 5 Wood. I only carry a driver be because I have too. I'm hitting it easily 265 off the tee. Do yourself a favor and go get one. Great CLUB!

I went into my local Golf Galaxy looking for a fairway wood. This wasn't even on the list of clubs I was going to try, however, the associate told me to give it a try because it was the loft I was looking for (wanted a 17 degree fairway). I gave it a try and WOW! The ball just jumps off the face of this club with a crisp sounding THWACK! The ball gets up in the air fast and has great carry. It is a little more expensive than other fairways, but worth it. I can't wait to use it outside!
