Utilizing second generation Dual Core Technology, this ball produces maximum greenside spin on short iron shots while activating the inner core on drives to produce Tour-level distance with low spin. The soft Hyper-Urethane cover helps create even more wedge spin to feel and play softer than any other Tour-caliber ball Callaway has ever designed. HEX Aerodynamics reduces drag with 100% surface area coverage for stable, efficient ball flight in various weather conditions.
Similar to honeycomb covering a beehive, Callaway's patented HEX Aerodynamics produce 100% surface area coverage on a golf ball whereas traditional round dimples typically cover only 88% of the surface. Dead space between dimples can cause inefficient flight characteristics so HEX geometries cover the entire ball to reduce drag and cut through the air with a strong, penetrating ball flight.
Dual Core construction produces "spin optimization" - the difference between high short game spin and low driver spin - crucial for optimum performance. Featured in Tour i Series balls, Dual Core technology uses two cores with different compressions in one ball so golfers can keep driver spin low while still producing short iron spin.

Tons of spin, hard as a rock
William hahn from Annapolis, MD | 3/19/2012 1:33 PM
One of the spinniest ball I've ever used, and hard as a rock. Feels terrible off of the driver and putter. Checks up nicely on greens for chips, but feels like a stone off the wedge club face. Feeling is comparable to that of a range ball. Would not recommend.
Great all around ball
Southpaw from Williamsburg, VA | 8/12/2011 9:17 PM
I have tried over 25 different golf balls that were best for my game and this ball is as good as the Pro V1. Excellent distance off the tee and great green grabbing ability but not recommended for the beginner golfers due to the side spin issues beginner golfers cannot control therefore causing them to slice the ball a lot off the tee.

i played this ball last saturday and i loved it. It was the first time to play it and i was amazed. It is expensive but worth it. I shot a 79 and the ball held the greens perfectly totally worth 45 dollars.
